Optional tips
- Once you're comfortable with your moves, go dance in public: a karaoke bar or dance hall, anywhere with people around. It doesn't have to be your song or your routine. It's the easy way to get comfortable dancing in front of people.
- Toward the end, practice in outfits close to the real thing: a thrift-store dress that moves like yours, the same style of shoes. No surprises on the big day, and it's a fun date on its own.
Tips on where moves go in your song
- Save your more impressive moves for the chorus.
- Use flow moves in between.
- End with a kiss and a bow, or just a kiss, so everyone knows the dance is over.
